Saturday, April 27th & Saturday, May 4th

(Yes, these two rehearsal days will use identical schedules)

9:30 – 10:00 Foundations A – 2000’s
10:00 – 10:30 Beginning Ballet Wed – 1950’s
10:30 – 11:00 Beginning Ballet Tues – 1970’s
11:00 – 11:30 Discover – 1930’s
11:30 – 12:00 Creative Movement – 1900’s
12:00 – 1:00 Finale Rehearsal – ALL STUDENTS, ALL DECADES
1:00 – 1:30 Finale Rehearsal continued – ONLY Next Step, Transitions/Inter, Advanced
1:30 – 2:00 –Lunch Break–
2:00 – 2:30 Foundations B – 1920’s
2:30 – 3:00 Essentials – 1960’s
3:00 – 3:30 Next Step – 1940’s
3:30 – 4:00 Transitions/Intermediate – 1990’s
4:00 – 4:30 Contemporary – 2010’s
4:30 – 5:00 Pointe – 1980’s
5:00 – 5:30 Advanced – 1910’s

Note: No rehearsals on May 11th: Happy Mother’s Day!

Tech/Dress + Performance Location:
Mary Stuart Rogers Performing Arts Center (Victor PAC)
425 4th Ave, Victor, MT

Tech/Dress Rehearsal is mandatory. Performances are mandatory as well. Cast members are required to perform in all 4 performances.

Thursday, May 16th – Tech/Dress Rehearsal

This year, we have one rehearsal night at the theater, so we are combining tech and dress rehearsals. This means that everyone must arrive at the theater with their performance hair, nude leotard, performance tights and shoes without holes. (no make up required for this rehearsal). Some classes may dance their piece once, while other classes may dance their piece a few times. This is at the discretion of the Director, Mrs Mauriana.

4:30 ALL DANCERS, ALL DECADES arrive at VPAC and get into costumes
5:00 – 5:45 Run Finale – ALL DANCERS, ALL DECADES
5:45 – 8:00 Dancing Through The Decades, in decade order.
Note: your dancer may leave the theater once their class has rehearsed their song and has been officially dismissed by the Director, Mrs. Mauriana. Please hang your costume up in the hallway before you leave the theater. NO costumes or headpieces may go home with any dancer!
8:10 – 9:15 DANCE TEAM – Wizard of Oz, Stand Out, Missed Connections, Senior Solos
9:15 – 9:30 Clean Up and Exit VPAC
9:45 VPAC Closed and Locked

May 17th – Show Day

*Please Remember ABSOLUTELY NO food or drink in the band room only water please. Only water in costume please.

Please Note: The three public shows listed below will be run like this:
Act I: Dancing Through The Decades (Approximately 1 hour)
Intermission: 20min
Act II: Dance Team Showcase (Approximately 2 hours)
During Intermission, all students who are not on the dance team, must be picked up from their hallway waiting area after getting out of their costume.
Each student may:
Either sit with a ticket holding adult in the audience (No costumes or leotards in the audience. Please wear street clothes)
OR may leave the school/theater premise with their approved adult parent/guardian. 

Arrive At PAC

4:30pm Next Step, Transitions, Intermediate, Advanced 
5:00pm Next Step & Transitions & Inter & Adv: Warm Up Class
6:00pm ALL other students and cast members arrive and get into costume

7:00pm Opening Night Public Show

10:00 – 10:30pm Clean Up and Head Home

May 18th – Show Day

11:00am Next Step, Transitions, Intermediate, Advanced arrive at PAC
11:15 – 12:00pm Next Step & Transitions & Inter & Adv: Warm Up Class at the PAC
12:15pm ALL other students and cast members arrive and get into costume

1:00pm Matinee Public Show

After Saturday’s Matinee: Students may leave the school/theater premise. Any persons or students under age 18 who remain at the PAC MUST be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent. Mrs. Mauriana, Mrs. Nicole, and Mrs. Amie will be unavailable during this break.

4:45 – 5:15pm  Next Step & Transitions & Inter & Adv: Warm Up Class at the PAC
5:15pm   ALL other students and cast members arrive and get into costume

6:00pm  Evening Public Show

Post Show:  STRIKE  Next Step, Transitions, Intermediate, Advanced will be assigned specific clean up tasks and required to help clean up and pack out. ALL of Ballet Bitterroot’s belongings MUST be removed from the Victor PAC before we can leave the premises, including all costumes, props, flooring, racks and other things used for the show. We must pick up trash and vacuum the lobby, auditorium, hallway carpets, and band room. We must sweep the stage and the hallways. The school janitor is responsible for the trash cans.

Studio Clean Up Day: Wednesday, May 22nd

Time: 4:00-7:00pm Open house style: come and go as you can.
All dancers are invited to come help clean up the studio.  If your dancer is age 11 or under, they must be accompanied and assisted by an adult. Students ages 12 and up may be dropped off to help.
Tasks: putting away costumes and props, sweeping the studios, washing mirrors, and cleaning bathrooms.
