Rehearsal and Performance Schedule 

 

Show Order

For your Convenience we offer Red and Pink Roses for purchase at the Performance. They will be available before the show starts as well as at intermission.

Spring Performance “The Whimsical World of Dr. Seuss” Rehearsal & Performance Schedule

Full Show Run Throughs Saturday May 6th and May 13th
These rehearsals are at the studio.

Times for each class are listed below. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled rehearsal. Students are free to leave when their rehearsal is complete. Please have your student wear his/her dance class attire with hair up in a bun. No make-up or costumes for these two Saturday rehearsals. If your student will be at rehearsal over their lunch, please send a lunch and have them eat it at any point they are not scheduled to be rehearsing. There will not be an “official” lunch break.

Saturday May 13th

Monday May 15th – Tech Rehearsal – At the Pac – 4:30 – 9:30 – No Costumes

Please Arrive 15 minutes before your listed time. We expect to stay on schedule.
When your class is finished on stage you are free to leave.

Hair should be performance quality, but no make-up needed for this rehearsal

4:45 – Students at the PAC

5:15 – 6:45 Whimsical World of Dr. Seuss
7:45 – 7:15 The Cat In The Hat
7:15 – 8:15 Dance Team
9:30 – Everyone out!


Wednesday – Everyone has the night off!!
Thursday – emergency rehearsals at studio if needed


Friday May 19th – PERFORMANCE DAY HAS ARRIVED!! 
NOTE: “CALL” is the term used in the performing arts to indicate
the time you’re expected to arrive at the theater with hair and make-up done.

1st SCHOOL SHOW
**9:00 Call Time: Intermediate and Transition Students at PAC
9:30 Call Time: Everyone else:
(Discover, Next Step, Foundations, Beginning, Introductions, Creative Movement)
10:30 – 11:30 SCHOOL SHOW
11:30 – Clean up: All costumes in Order and personal belongings straightened up. Please bring a sack lunch or order food in. No one may leave the PAC. You will have approximately 30 minutes.

2nd SCHOOL SHOW

12:00 Call Time for Everyone
1:00 - 2:00 SCHOOL SHOW
2:00 - Clean up: All costumes in order and personal belongings straightened up. Everyone is encouraged to leave the PAC to get some rest before coming back for evening show. (If you leave the PAC, please take your personal belongings with you. The building will NOT be locked.) Because we are asking everyone to leave, if your student chooses to stay they must have adult supervision. Note:  Intermediate girls, please eat a hot meal if you can. This will greatly help energize you for the evening show.


EVENING SHOW

4:00 – 5:00 Transitions and Intermediate warm up
at PAC
5:00 CALL Transitions and Intermediate
5:30 CALL Everyone Else:
(Next Step, Foundations, Beginning, Introductions, Creative Movement)
6:30 SHOW TIME
8:30 – 9:00 Clean up and depart
Clean up looks like: All Costumes in order: each student responsible for their own
                                 All Personal Items must be taken home
                                 Auditorium picked up – no trash


Saturday, May 20th


MATINEE

11:00-12:00 Warm up class at studio Transitions and Intermediate
12:00-12:15 Travel to PAC
12:15 – CALL Transitions and Intermediate (At PAC)
12:30 - CALL Everyone – at PAC
1:30 SHOW TIME
3:00 Show completed – get some food and rest.
Anyone staying at the PAC must have an adult with them. This applies to all of our students!

Evening Show – see below

EVENING SHOW – FINAL PERFORMANCE
4:30 – 5:15 Warm up class at PAC: Transitions and Intermediate
5:30 CALL Everyone
6:30 SHOW TIME
8:00 – 10:00 Final Clean up and depart.

All Students Responsible for hanging up their own costume. All Students Responsible for their own personal items. Students 10 and Up are required to stay and help with additional clean up. Students will be assigned a job (under a leader) and will be free to leave when that job is completed and they are released by their leader.
